Leased Accommodation for Junior Executives

We would like to draw your kind attention to our letter no. CC/ACC/2006/1 dated 9 January 2006 on the subject.

In this communication we have questioned the decision of AAI of not providing leased accommodation to the Junior Executives whereas providing it to every other executives and also to the Superintendents and Sr. Superintendents.)

The JE (ATC)s have been recruited to perform ATC duties which is acknowledged as one of the most stressful jobs. If these persons are made to run around for accommodation, it will be impossible for them to undertake the additional stress of learning and performing in ATC. The proposed commencement of simultaneous operation of runways at Mumbai and Delhi will be adversely affected unless an immediate positive decision is taken on this matter. The JE (ATC)s are unable to concentrate on their training programme as they are always running around in search of suitable accommodation.

Therefore, it is requested that in the best interest of justice, the leased accommodation may please be extended to the Junior Executives with immediate effect.

With Regards,

D K Behera
General Secretary
