Anomalies in Annual Transfers of Asstt. Manager (ATC) - 2006

Please refer to the office order no. A-22012/05/2006-EA dated 16 June, 2006 regarding transfer of Assistant Managers (ATC) for the year 2006. A glance at the list makes it amply clear that in some cases none of the principles of AAI Transfer Policy has been followed for which there is lot of resentment in the cadre.

ATC Guild (India) has received a number of representations/complaints against this order almost all of which have raised genuine grievances. The personnel are at their witís end to find that none of the principles and norms of AAI transfer policy has been followed and a lot of them who should have got their choice of stations have been denied the same without any reason.

ATC Guild (India) strongly feels that if the genuine grievances of its members are not taken care of it is likely to de-motivate and demoralize the young executives and they will lose faith in the system.

In view of the large number of representations received against the transfer order, the ATC Guild (India) demands that the whole list be scrapped forthwith and a new list be issued following the AAI Transfer Policy scrupulously. All stations should be advised to keep implementation of this order in abeyance.

With regards,

D K Behera
General Secretary
